We gaan deze maand op de culinaire toer met de camera's! Helemaal 'Out of Context' dus want bij de Westergasfabriek is er het weekend van de Rollende Keukens met tientallen mobiele eetgelegenheden die samen één groot openluchtrestaurant vormen. En er is nog muziek ook.

Niet de standaard omgeving om urban foto's te maken maar er zal genoeg te zien zijn om ons uit te kunnen leven.

We verzamelen om 19:30 voor (aan de kant van de Haarlemmerweg) de Fabrieksbrug, dat is vanaf het Centraal Station bekeken de eerste brug en hier zit o.a de Bakkerswinkel. Vanaf CS kom je er met Tram 10 of Bus 21, je moet alleen even naar de goede brug lopen. Een plattegrond vind je hier: www.westergasfabriek.nl/Westergasfabriek-plattegrond.pdf

Let op! Wijziging van plan.

Helaas lukt het niet meer om op zaterdag 26 mei op pad te gaan tijdens de Fries straatfestival. De organisatie kan deze dag niet vrij maken ivm priveonstandigheden en daarom wordt nu uitgeweken naar plan B. We gaan daarom tegen zonsondergang fotograferen aan Lange Marktstraat en grachten van Leeuwarden.

“I can see dead things”. Fortunately not people because this month we are going to find animals out of their context. We are very welcome to shoot at the History museum of Nature (Natuur Historisch Museum) at Boymans park. We gather in front of the museum at 10:00. There could be a admission of € 6-

Op zondag 27 mei wordt er op het Stadionplein voor het stadion van FC Emmen een grote vlomarkt en braderie gehouden. Hier gaan we op zoek naar alles, mensen dieren en dingen, die 'out of context' zijn. Is het lastig om iets te vinden dan zijn hier genoeg mensen of dingen te vinden om zelf 'out of context' te plaatsen.

We verzamelen op zondag 27 mei 2012 om 13:30 op de parkeerplaats tussen de Praktijkschool Emmen en het stadion van FC Emmen.

This time there shall be a lot of steam and old machines. The Dordtse Steamdays (Dordt in stoom) are a great place to visit and to photograph. People, Old steamengines, Steamtrucks, minituretrains and ships. The venue is best reached by the use of the ferry so make sure you have ferryfee or a OV-card. It's best best to have a OV-card. We depart from the Ferrydocs near Leuvehaven nearby the Erasmusbridge at 12:00 so to be safe and sure, be their at 11:30. It's a crowded venue so pack light.

We verzamelen om 19:00u voor de kerk op de heuvel. Van hieruit gaan we in ieder geval Automobiles vastleggen. Trains en plains als we de kans krijgen.

Trains, Planes & Automobiles .... Buses, Bikes & People

This is the last meeting I will organize for Emmen UPC. Street photography is my passion. I challenge you to join me on a street photography meeting with your tripod.

Tripod? In street photography you need to be stealth. I know.

What we will do is capture stationairy people on the street with movements from Automobiles, Buses & Bikes. So use a bit slow shutter speed, freeze a person that is standing still, and capture the movement of riding wheels. Perfect with your tripod.

I have never done this before, but I have seen spectacular results.

Saturday June 16th at 14:00 hours.
Meeting point: Parking Hondsrugweg (Q-park Dierenpark Emmen)
